Some people have a problem using the 'official' set up phrase - 

"I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

Don't worry about the words or force the statement if you feel it doesn't suit you.

Try something less emotionally loaded like "I'm ok" or "I'm alright" these will work well too.

Lucy Munro TAPPING FOR SPECIFIC ILLNESS 1. Write down the name of your specific illness. If your illness doesn’t have a name, write down the name you would give your illness ie. SORE TIRED EYES. 2. Below this, write a list of ALL of the symptoms you experience from your illness. Write the list in your everyday language, do not use medical terms ie. Itchy, scratchy, eyes. Tired, heavy, head. Can’t see properly. 3. Make the list as long or as short is necessary. 4. Hold one hand on your heart centre and tap around your points with the other. 5. As you tap each point, connect to the energy of one symptom at a time, and tap softly until you feel the energy begin to move and disperse away. 6. Remember to breathe deeply as you tap. 7. When you feel you’re done with your tapping, hold both hands on your Heart Centre and say loudly “feeling better”. Repeat this until you feel the truth of the statement in your heart.

Lucy Munro FEAR Fear stops us being, doing, asking, having, enjoying… so today’s vibration is ‘fear’. Sit quietly with both hands in the centre of your chest. Breathe deeply as you contemplate the vibration of fear. Wait until you feel a tingle in the palm of your hands then scan your body internally, looking for any ‘fear’ energy lurking in your body. When you locate fear, leave one hand on your chest and begin tapping with the other. Say these words as you tap – Top of the head point – False Third Eye point – Evidence Eyebrow – Appearing Side of the Eye – Real Continue with the rest of the points and say one of the words at each point. You’ll notice that the first letter of each word spells out FEAR. Continue until all fear has left your body and your mind and spirit feels calm.

Lucy Munro Today’s vibration is ‘RESENTMENT’. To clear any hidden or known resentment from your life, find yourself a quiet moment. Sit and place your hands in the Heart hold position. Close your eyes and think, feel and speak the vibration of “resentment”. Repeat the word “resentment” continuously as you notice the energy of any resentment, lingering in your body. Breathe out and relax your body, allowing any ‘resentment’ energy to begin to flow out of your body. When you feel ready, start tapping. Begin at the top of your head. Say these words or use words of your own at each tapping point. Top of the head- I release any resentment that’s stuck in my head. Third eye point – I release any resentment I feel deep down inside. Eyebrow point – I release any resentment that makes me feel angry. Side of eye point – I release any resentment about things I can’t change. Under the eye point – I release any resentment about things I know are wrong. Under nose point - I release any resentment from the back of my neck and shoulders. Chin point – I release any resentment from in between my shoulder blades. Collar bone point – I release any resentment from in my heart and any other place where I feel resentment inside of me. Repeat as many times as is necessary and when you feel better come back to the Heart Hold position, thank yourself for your time and good judgement then carry on with your wonderful day.

Lucy Munro A big British welcome to Mathew who has guilted me into keeping up with this small but beautifully formed little group ☺ I was on Facebook the other day and I saw a post that a friend had written. I didn’t understand the post at all, I didn’t understand why anybody would want to share what was written or why anybody would give a flying fig about it but the post had 39 likes! 39 people ‘liked’ what had been said even though it was something that would never appeal to me or interest me… It reminded me of my own work, a lot of people don’t initially ‘get it’ or understand what I do but the people who do understand, love it and I’m eternally grateful to them. They allow me to be confident enough to concentrate all of my energies on my work and not waste time explaining myself to people who aren’t interested or inclined towards the work I do – Thank you lovely energy peeps! ☺ Using the Heart Hold position Today’s energy affirmation – I LIKE BEING ME ☺

Lucy Munro I CAN FIND PEACE We closed last week’s tapping session with the statement ‘I can find peace’. The words were carefully chosen because we were working with pain, which suggests a highly stressed energy system. Stressed energy is chaotic, frustrated and usually exhausted. It doesn’t take kindly to being ordered or told what to do but on the other hand it doesn’t know what to do to help itself so, it gets stuck in vicious loops and cycles. Because we are always kind with ourselves when we work with energy, we can avoid causing further stress to our system by not demanding that we are already peaceful/ happy/ loved etc. when it doesn’t feel true or honest inside. In times of stress, the thought or pressure to become immediately transformed into a saintly, goddess-like siren might seem like an impossible, hypocritical or self-deluding goal which will only add further stress and pressure. Suggesting that at some time in the future, when we are ready/ stronger/ more stable/ more accepting etc. our mind, body & spirit will find the true peace it seeks in it’s own time, at it’s own pace and in it’s own way, allows the energy system to be more relaxed, open and honest – all qualities which will help not hinder, the healing process.

Lucy Munro PAIN TALKING I usually find cleaning quite calming; it frees my mind to wander and roam but yesterday, the bedroom sparkling, I was half way through the bathroom but my mind was still buzzing in a frantic whirr! She said this! She did that! Why didn’t I say this, why hadn’t I done that! I couldn’t understand why I was repeatedly regurgitating some mental rubbish about an inconsequential incident that had happened over a week ago! Then I noticed something… Earlier, I had some physical therapy, which had aggravated a painful area in my neck. The pain was becoming intense. There’s a direct link between physical & emotional pain and negative, destructive thinking. Mild self-recrimination like saying, “Oh, you daft bat!” if you bump your head is fine but deeper pains and hurts can feed habitual patterns of self-doubt, self-abuse & self-hatred if they’re not noticed and their potent energy dispersed. I immediately stopped cleaning and sat down to do some EFT Energy work. I placed one hand on my heart and the other hand over the painful area in my neck. If you’d like to try this technique but can’t reach the pain or it’s an emotional pain you’re dealing with, place both hands in the heart hold position to start, then just tap as normal. Start the routine by acknowledging the pain – speak softly to yourself and say - “this pain…” “this pain…” You will begin to feel energy circulating or tingling in your hands, now concentrate on any pain or hurt you feel and the energy of the feeling. When you feel you have ‘connected’ somehow to the energy in the pain begin tapping with whichever hand feels most comfortable for you. Use these statements as you tap – This hurts. This is hurting me. You hurt me. What you did was wrong. You shouldn’t have done that. You caused this pain. It happened so long ago. I can’t get over this pain. Its still hurting me now… Use your own words if any come to mind but stay focused on the pain you’re feeling right now. If you can’t think of any words just say “this hurts” as you tap. The pain will begin to diminish, remember to breathe out to let the pain flow away. When you feel comfortable, bring both hands to the heart hold position and say out loud “I can find peace”. Repeat until you feel comfortable and relaxed. Remember! If you’re using nasty, bitchy, bitter, negative talk or you’re hearing it from somebody else, chances are it’s pain that’s doing the talking and not their/your true self. Use EFT Energy to calm the pain and tap this destructive energy away.
